Today, my mom introduced rambutan to Jeda. No, not for eating, but more for her sensory activity. So, I watched Jeda, as my mom gave a rambutan to her. She touched the outer side of it, and pulled her palm right away. Then, she tried again, this time, she made funny face as if she was telling me , "I do not like the feeling of it!" or "It's really tickle me, and I do not quite like it!" Then, she tried again to touch the outer side of rambutan, but again, she pulled her palm and fingers right away. Then, she touched the branch, and played with it for a while.
I for many years, believe in the sensory activities. I think, feeling a different surface or texture have many impact on her brain and nerves on the finger tips.
During this simple exercise, which inspired by my mother, Jeda is able express likes or dislikes. I just quite surprise that she expresses herself in an early age.
